Standard Terms Of Engagement

  • Acceptance: These Standard Terms of Engagement apply in respect to all work carried out by Drug Detection Services (DDS) relating to workplace drug and alcohol testing.
  • Prices: Prices are subject to change due to price increasing of testing equipment used and other various reasons. Unless otherwise stated, the prices quoted in our agreements are exclusive of GST.
    • Quotes for contracts are valid for 30 days from the date of the quote.
    • Any work which falls outside the quoted task will be charged at an hourly rate.
    • If any samples have to be forwarded to a third party, ESR or Canterbury health, for diagnostic testing, Drug Detection Services may have to make payment to these third parties on your behalf. These extra costs will be included in your invoice when the expense is incurred.
  • Invoices: An invoice will be forwarded to you on completion of each job. Payment is due on the 20th of the following month from the date of the invoice unless advised otherwise on the invoice.
  • Non Payment: If the account is overdue, Drug Detection Services can refuse to provide or continue the service and charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 3% per calendar month calculated from the date of the invoice until full and final payment. If the Client payment remains overdue, Drug Detection Services will refer the amount owing to a debt collection agency and all costs of recovery and enforcement shall be at your expense in addition to the amount owing. The Client is liable for any costs and expenses Drug Detection Services incurs to enforce its rights under these terms of trade.
